                                                                         WALKING & CYCLING

The landscapes and villages of rural Andalucía are breathtaking and two of the very best ways to appreciate their diversity and beauty is either on foot or cycling. At La casita we are more than happy to suggest suitable routes for all ages. We can even arrange for packed-lunches and to pick you up at the end of your journeyAlthough we do not provide bikes, we are very happy for you to bring yours!

Here are some of the comments we have received from walkers who have stayed with us:

"We absolutely loved the walking, village to village and the circuits, you suggested.

Our favourite day, in scenic terms, was from the casita to Iznájar.  The speed, precision, and warmth of your communications are clearly the best we have experienced. Thank you so much for your routes and suggestions, and many thanks for the packed-lunch, and for picking us up and returning us to La Casita!"

"A great benefit to the walks you suggested is to be in contact with regions and pockets of a country where no mass tourism can possibly reach. On your Casita de Campo circular walk we didn't see any other walker at all along the way. Exposure to this is very important in our enjoyment of your walks."

"We found the walks you suggested  very manageable (not that a couple were without their strenuous bits). The villages were all really exceptional - lovely places at which to arrive after a long walk. The terrain was also pretty varied, which was a positive. Beyond the scenery and walking, I would say my next favourite thing was the character of the villages we walked to - just large enough to have amenities, but small enough to have maintained their individual character. Our next favourite thing was the revelation that G&T's are far better in Southern Spain than in England (or at least the pours are better). I'm left feeling disappointed at the frugal G&T's served here in Manchester! Obviously, there was very little, we did not thoroughly enjoy. We will see you again!"
